What do we offer
Many different Avenues to learn Darts.
Darts is a unique sport in that it can be played by anyone. Darts is highly inclusive and is suitable to any age, gender or ability. It offers a wide range of avenues to pursue your dart hobby, be it social darts in your local leagues, international Darts with the INDO Irish National team, PDC darts with development tour and more.

Academy Lessons
Academy lessons are held in the Farranree Community Centre at present. These sessions have a 60 euro registration fee for the year which will include your academy dart shirt, and then a 10 euro charge per session. Once you are registered to the Joker darts Academy you are held to the DRA (Darts Regulatory Authority) and the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) PDPA (Professional Dart Player Association) code of conduct and expected to behave with integrity to the sport and yourself at all times. In the academy you will be broken into groups of similar ability, you will learn counting, correct finishing, game play and structure, how to handle and conduct yourself at any event, preparation and warm up for tournaments, mental health, nutrition and self regulation under pressure and in general. The academy is affiliated to the Target Darts Elite 1 programme which has a has a complete professional approach to the youth game which we be strictly implemented in the Joker Darts Academy.
Mondays and Thursday's 5pm to 6pm (ages 11 and under or anyone not throwing to height or distance)
Mondays and Thursdays 6:00pm - 8pm - all other youths. All Youths up to the age of 24 are welcome (in line PDC DEVELOPMENT TOUR AGE you must be 23 or under on the 4th February )

Private Coaching Sessions
John provides one to one private coaching session, these can be for beginner level, issues with the dynamic and mechanic's of your throw, dartitis, general game play improvement or private advice. All issues can be addressed. Sessions are generally an hour and a personalised practice improvement plan will be created to suit your individual need and goal.

Guest Coaching
John can attend a guest coaching day and hold a tailored work shop to suit your needs be it a school venue, an established youth system that wishes to use a guest coach for ideas and an alternative activity, a team building day for an international youth system or county team. All levels and abilities will be met for a fun filled memorable day. Number depending, these days are usually broken into two four hour sessions to ensure everyone has personalised time with the Joker.
Rates vary and are usually at cost per child/youth or amount attending the event.
